Tomatoes and sunflower power!

I m really good!! Gorry green thumbs really got a flair for this! I can't wait for the tomatoes!

Guess what! My sunflower and tomatoes are growing!! 

This is in spite of me not having any thumbs whatsoever much less green ones!

Lavender tomatoes and sunflowers

Hi all!! Considering how my hidden talent for growing plants are unveiling itself, mama decided to buy the tomato, sunflower and lavender seeds for me to try!!! Yayyy

I can't wait for the seeds to germinate!! Auntie Anne wants to harvest my tomatoes for sundried tomato and pesto making. She asked me to grow cashew nuts too. Wow lao.. One plant a time, y'all!!! 

Yday was national day!!! Happy bday singapore!! 

Coffee compost

Wow guess what we found at Katong V! This cafe is giving away free coffee compost, my plants will love it. I think the seedlings are on steroids... Heheh growing super fast!! Grow grow!! 

Project windowsill anchors away!

More today!!!! But seems like only the basil is growing... The coriander and parsley seem to be sleeping :( 

Can't wait to make pesto with cashews! 

Day 4 and 5: A watched herb never grows

Hi all! This is me! Giving my basil, parsley and coriander plants some eye power. Grow baby grow grow grow!!!! Mama doesn't like me standing on her pot of saffron watching the seeds, she says a watched herb never grows. Por por asks me to watch tv instead. 

Guess what! This am, after watching my tv, it really grew!!!!!!! I am so excited... I made mama go and buy some plant food immediately. We can't wait to make our own pesto!!

The verdant path to financial freedom

Hello everyone! 

Part of our plan to save costs in our very expensive singapore is to cut down on energy usage and my mama s got rid of our dryer and the savings is 25 pct of our electricity usage!! 100 kWh.. 

Other things that we are doing is to apply for POSB everyday card! All the rebates and the usages are really good.. Everyone should read ggqq s blog about credit card rebates comparison :)

I got wrapped up by yang por por today coz yang gong gong was cooking curry.. I dowanna go home smelling like curry..

Day 1: windowsill garden

Since my mama and me are on our mission for financial freedom, she has given me a task! Grow my own food! Day 1 liao... My food issnt growing.. So slow :(

My new project is growing herbs for mama s kitchen ! I hope this works! We  bought this at NTUC and it's supposed to be a windowsill garden for basil, parsley and coriander.
